JAMIE GINSBERG Jaime is the Owner and director of Nomads Field Hockey club. In addition Jaime is the head coaches at Smith College. A 1999 Exercise Science degree graduate of Slippery Rock University, Ginsberg received her Master of Education degree in Sports and Recreation Administration from Temple University in 2007. While at SRU Jaime received the top honor of sweat 16 athlete her senior year. In addition Jaime was an NCAA scholar athlete her four year while at SRU. Ginsberg served as the field hockey coach at Friends Select School in Philadelphia for three years preceding joining the Smith staff. Prior to her position at Friends, Ginsberg coached field hockey, winter track and junior varsity lacrosse for three years at her alma mater George School where she was an outstanding athlete graduating with twelve varsity letters. She founded and served as player/coach for the women's lacrosse club team while at Slippery Rock and was a founding member of the Cosmo Club field hockey team in Philadelphia. Ginsberg has lent her expertise to the United States Field Hockey Association in Philadelphia as the site director and head coach from 2001-04 and has been a head coach at the Nike Field Hockey camps since 2004. Ginsberg, a member of the United States Field Hockey Association (USFHA) and National Field Hockey Coaching Association (NFHCA), obtained her USA Field Hockey Level 1 and sat for her Level II Coach Certifications and was selected as the 2008 Smith College Coach of the Year. Fun Fact: I dream practice will turn into a musical theater production one day! |

JESSICA BERGEN Jessica was a member of the New York State team (2003), participated in National Futures Tournament (2002 & 2004). Participated in national indoor tournaments .At college she was a four year starter & contributor in both midfield and offense for nationally ranked Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Participated in two NCAA Championship tournaments, resulting in losses in the "Sweet 16" round. After graduating from Skidmore College in May of 2008, she is currently in her first year as an assistant coach at Springfield College in MA teams this fall. |

Pete Leclerc Pete is the Recreation Supervisor for the City of Holyoke. He is the founder of Holyoke Youth Field Hockey and the Valley Cup Field Hockey Tournament, which draws youth teams from across the Pioneer Valley. He brings with him an extensive background which includes coaching athletes at the local through national levels as well as being a guest speaker at coaching clinics . Fun fact: |

Kathleen Boucher Kathleen is currently in her second year as an assistant field hockey coach and assistant lacrosse coach at Smith College. She graduated with honors from Amherst College in 2008 with a BA in Sociology. At Amherst she was the starting field hockey goalie. Her senior year she was a tri-captain and received recognitions including NESCAC Player of the Week. She has coached many camps and provided one-on-one goalie training at the high school and college levels. In addition to coaching at Smith, she is pursuing a Master of Science in Exercise & Sports Studies. |

Chrissy Needham Chrissy Needham returns to The Nomads after a one year hiatus. She most recently spent three seasons as an assistant coach at UMass. During her time at UMass, the team rose as high as 9th in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Poll, won two Atlantic 10 Conference Championships and advanced to the NCAA tournament twice. Previous to UMass, Chrissy coached for six years at Greenwich High School in Connecticut, the final two as head coach. While head coach at Greenwich, Chrissy guided her teams to back-to-back Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) Class L and Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC) championships with a combined 42-3 record. She was named the CIAC Coach of the Year in 2005, followed by the FCIAC Coach of the Year in 2006. While in CT, she also founded the FC United Field Hockey Club. Chrissy has been active in the USFHA Futures Program for many years, both in Region 2 (Mass) and Region 3 (CT/RI). She has twice coached teams that the National Futures Championship (2006 and 2009). Last winter, Chrissy also attained her USFHA Level II . Fun Fact: Chrissy has driven cross country three times. |

Lauren Benson Lauren Benson is the assistant varsity field hockey coach at the Williston Northampton School. She graduated from Amherst College in 2008. She was a defender on Amherst's field hockey team and served as a tri-captain during her senior year. In addition, she was a member and tri-captain of Amherst's indoor and outdoor track and field teams. While at Amherst, she was recognized with several sportsmanship awards and all-academic honors. She has been a coach at many summer camps. |

Kristina Edmonds Tina, returns to the Nomads after a few years away! We are happy to have her back for the month of December to help select and train our national teams! Tina is graduate of Maryland University, where she played Field Hockey! |

Anna Beath Anna graduated from Swarthmore College in the Spring of 2009 where she earned her degree in Sociology/Anthropology and Education. While there, she played field hockey, lacrosse, and Frisbee, and worked to found the non-profit, Chester Neighborhood Bike Works. She is currently acting as the assistant Field Hockey Coach at Smith College while obtaining her Masters degree in Exercise and Sport Studies. |

Kaithlyn Murdough I was a four year varsity starter at Smith College. I have played mainly midfield/defense. In 2006 I made the NFHCA D3 national academic squad. I was captain at Smith in 2008, and was chosen for the team Brick Wall Award that year as well. Fun fact: I have lots of animals at my house |

Phoebe Hopkins A Sophomore at Smith College. As a First year Phoebe was named to the 1st team all NEWMAC and 2nd team all Region and was Smith Colleges leading scorer. Contributing 29 points in her 1st year of collegiate play. In her Sophomore year Phoebe was named to NEWMAC’ S 2nd team and again lead the team in points with 19. Phoebe comes to us from Philadelphia PA. |

KATIE JONES Head Coach Bay Path College. Coach Jones is a 2008 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) with a B. A. in Exercise and Sports Science and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Exercise and Sport Studies at Smith College. Jones has played elite field hockey for the United States Mid-West High Performance Center and internationally in Sydney's competitive "Metro Comp". While at OWU, Jones was a senior captain and four-year starter for the field hockey team. She was twice recognized as a NFHCA Regional All-American, four times as a member of the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Team and four times as a member of the NFHCA Academic All-America Team. In addition, Jones received many accolades from OWU including being selected as a recipient of the Athletic Department's "Top 5" award, as a member of the Dale J. Bruce Sports Honor Society, and as one of the few recipients in her graduating class of the Meek Leadership Award. Fun Fact: no matter what my pony tail always end up on the left |
